Interesting Story

I particularly love this line: “Oil prices plummeted by the second-largest margin on record Tuesday as investors feared a further decline in U.S. demand“, which begs me to wonder, has this just been about fucking the US the last few months? Everyone keeps crying about the demand for oil from countries like India and China as being the reason that the oil prices have been sky rocketing, then the United States start saying that their demand is going to go down and then Oil drops? You know what this sounds like is a junkie right now. The drug dealer thinks the junkie is trying to stop using, so he lowers the price of his stuff so that the junkie will go back to his habit.

Something similar occurred in the early 80’s when the United States started looking into alternative fuels, they actually set up an agency for it, when oil dropped to like a dollar a barrel, it effectively killed the agency as the congress said, why do we need to do that when oil is so cheap. If only that agency worked out and the US was using some other form of fuel as a primary source, then Iraq would not have been invaded and a great many issues we find our selves in currently would not exist.

We need to get out of this oil issue ASAP, then we can leave the middle east to go kill themselves off and not have to worry about stabilizing a region that is about to blow up anyways.

Priorities

How many hearings have we had on steroids in professional sports? How many man hours have been spent on the entire spygate conspiracy?

Now ask yourself, why is it that our country is on the brink, if not solidly mired in a recession because of the subprime issue? Why are we paying $4.50/gallon at the pumps?

Maybe it is because the knot heads in congress are spending way too much time on shit that means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Maybe if we show them how lame ass they are at the upcoming election it will send them a stern message. How about finding all of the politicians that had any iota of presence at any of these hearings and boot their ass out of congress. Instead of spending time dealing with the craptastical economy and the oil issue, they decided to look into a hobby, a thing that people garner entertainment from. Lets elect people that have no allegiance to either the democratic party, or the republican party.

The two party system has failed us, time and time again. We need people that actually care about this country in our congress. Not these knot heads that sit there and basically get paid by us to waste our money and get fat off of lobby groups and political decisions that only benefit themselves.
